When we launched our very first collection, we knew it needed a name that reflected more than just the pieces themselves. We weren’t simply releasing hair accessories, we were beginning a new way of creating. A slower, more intentional rhythm. One rooted in care, connection, and quiet beauty.

Soulful Beginnings became our way of honouring that start.

It spoke to the heart behind Pearls Studios: two best friends who wanted something gentle for their hair, for the planet, and for the way we move through everyday life. It reflected the small rituals that shape our days. Tying your hair before stepping out. Clipping it back in the evening light. These are quiet moments. But they matter.

The name also held space for something deeper. A belief that beginnings don’t have to be loud or perfect. They can be soft, imperfect, full of soul. A scrunchie that doesn’t tug. A clip that holds without harm. A design that lasts beyond a season.

That first collection laid the foundation for everything we continue to build: timeless pieces with purpose. Hair accessories that care.
